Post-matric
Orientation - Level 4 Design Foundation
This course is an exploratory period in which the students discover their preferences for material and content. They gain an understanding of the elements and principles of design so that they can plan their specialisation during the second year.
N4-N6
Post matric semester courses N4 - N6 (18 months) are offered where students may specialize in one of the following directions:
Jewellery Design & Manufacture
or two of the following:
Ceramic Design
Graphic Processes/Printmaking
Textile Design/Fibre art

PRACTICAL TRAINING
Once students have completed their N6 Certificate, a period of 2000 hours or 18 months commercial experience follows before they are awarded the National N6 Diploma.
