The occupational school aims to provide lifelong learning. To this end, anyone who would like to progress professionally or improve employment opportunities, and who needs to obtain a formal qualification will benefit from the offered courses.
For certificate Programmes:
Generally a senior certificate (grade 12), a national senior Certificate (NSC) or a National certificate (Vocational) Level 4 is required, except for the national certificate in Bookkeeping NQF 3 where candidates can be accepted who have completed grade 10 (Standard 8). No prior knowledge of accounting is required. A Curriculum Vitae is required from students over the age of 23, who have no senior certificate or NSC.
Study duration: two years part time.

The versatility of these programmes range from skills courses with duration of 20 hours to long-term qualifications of up to two years.
Venues where practical courses are conducted are fully equipped with the relevant tools and equipment to be able to carry out the practical tasks. One learner per workstation is recommended for optimal use and functioning. A minimum amount of learners are required for the commencement of these courses, as they are quite expensive to offer to below the recommended quorum.
Who are these courses for?
For learners who have just completed their level 4 NCV programme and want to further their studies. This furthers their chances of being employed in better paying positions in the industry. Anyone of the general public wanting to further their studies on a part-time basis, due to work commitments or full-time study obligations can enrol for these courses.
