Eastern Cape TVET Colleges Unite for the EC ITCS Student Competition 2025

We are excited to announce that the Annual Eastern Cape Information Technology & Computer Science (EC ITCS) Student Competition 2025 will be hosted by PE College, from 15 to 17 October 2025, at the RRC Hall in Gqeberha.

This flagship event is a collaborative initiative of all Eastern Cape TVET Colleges, supported by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) Regional Office, and brings together the brightest IT and Computer Science students from across the province to showcase their talents and compete for top honours.

Why it matters:

This competition celebrates academic excellence, innovation, and teamwork in the fast-growing digital and ICT sectors. It also reflects our collective commitment as Eastern Cape TVET institutions to nurture future-ready graduates who are equipped to shape South Africa’s digital future.
