2026 SRC INDUCTION

The Student Representative Council (SRC) Induction Programme for 2026 took place at Pine Lodge in Gqeberha from 27 to 29 March 2026.
The purpose of the induction was to formally orient SRC members by equipping them with essential knowledge and skills, as well as a clear understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and governance structures. This initiative ensures that members are well-prepared to effectively represent the student body and contribute strategically to the advancement of the College.

SRC ELECTIONS CONCLUDED

The SRC elections were successfully conducted across all campuses on Thursday, 19 March 2026.
Both EFF and SASCO presented their objectives to students, assuring them that, if elected, they would address and fulfil student concerns and needs.
The final results will be announced soon.
STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL (SRC) ELECTION PROCESS 2026
The SRC election process commenced on February 26, 2026. Students were given the opportunity to exercise their democratic rights and significantly contribute to student leadership and governance at the College by electing representatives to the Student Representative Council.
Today, 18 March 2026, the Iqahyiya Campus will host the last voter education session and SRC manifesto presentations.
Students are encouraged to listen carefully and decide who they want to represent them on the SRC.
You will have the opportunity to make your mark in the SRC Elections on Thursday, 19 March 2026.

Port Elizabeth TVET College hereby invites all eligible students to participate in the 2026 Student Representative Council (SRC) Election process. This is an important opportunity for students to exercise their democratic right and contribute to student leadership and governance within the College.
