CAREER EXPO AT ANDREW RABIE HIGH SCHOOL

The College was invited to participate in a career expo at Andrew Rabie High School on Thursday, 23 April 2026.
The purpose of the visit was to engage with Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12 learners and provide them with information on what the College has to offer.
Learners were informed about the phasing out of NATED programmes, NCV programmes, as well as the introduction of occupational programmes that will be available at the College.
In addition, the learners were guided through the online application process, including key dates and requirements.
Appreciation is extended to the Marketing team for representing the College professionally.

IQHAYIYA CAMPUS HOSTS HILLSIDE TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL VISIT

On Thursday, 9 April 2026, the College’s Iqhayiya Campus hosted a visit from Hillside Technical High School. The delegation comprised 49 Grade 12 learners and two educators.
During the visit, learners were allowed to tour the campus workshops, providing them with valuable insight to support informed decisions regarding applications to higher education institutions for the 2027 academic year.
The College extends its sincere appreciation to Mr Pretorius and his team for their support in facilitating this initiative.

CAREER EXPO AT NEWTON TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL

The College attended a Career Expo at Newton Technical High School on Wednesday, 25 March 2026.
The purpose of the expo was to inform Grade 11 and 12 learners about the programmes offered by the College, including the phasing out of NATED programmes, available occupational programmes, as well as the application process and key dates for the 2027 academic year.
The event was a successful and informative engagement at Newton Technical High School.

ENGAGING GRADE 12 AT HILLSIDE TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL

The College visited Hillside Technical High School on Thursday, 12 February 2026.
The purpose of the visit was to inform the Grade 12 learners about the programmes offered by the College, as well as the application process, deadlines, and required documents.
It was an engaging and informative interaction with the learners.

FIND YOUR FUTURE EXPO AT ALEXANDER ROAD HIGH SCHOOL

Port Elizabeth TVET College visited Alexander Road High School on Monday, 2 February 2026, to participate in the first-ever Find Your Future Expo.
The purpose of the expo was to provide Grade 12 learners with insight into the college’s programmes, the application process, important deadlines, and the required documentation.
The event was a resounding success.

FIRST CAREER EXHIBITION 2026

The 2026 Career Exhibition campaign commenced with a visit to Otto du Plessis High School in Algoa Park, Gqeberha, on Friday, 23 January 2026. 
The College team engaged with Grade 10, 11 and 12 learners, providing information on the programmes offered by the College, the phasing out of NATED programmes, and the introduction of Occupational Programmes. Learners were also advised on application dates and the importance of keeping their contact details up to date.
Overall, it was a successful and informative day
