The TVET sector is transitioning from NATED (Report 191) programmes towards Occupational Programmes that are more closely aligned with the needs of industry and the workplace.
WHAT IS NATED? NATED = ACADEMIC & THEORY-BASED PATHWAY
NATED, also known as Report 191, traditionally provides a structured academic pathway through N4, N5 and N6.
It focuses strongly on theoretical knowledge, supported by practical learning and workplace experience.
Students who complete the required N4–N6 levels and relevant workplace experience can work towards a National N Diploma.
