EC Finance Forum Successfully Hosted at Port Elizabeth TVET College
Port Elizabeth TVET College proudly hosted the Eastern Cape (EC) Finance Forum on 11 and 12 June 2025. The two-day event, held at the College’s Admin Building, brought together Deputy Principals: Finance and financial officials from across the province.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all delegates who attended and contributed to the forum’s success. The event provided a valuable platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of best practices among financial professionals in the TVET sector.
The College remains committed to promoting excellence in financial management and was honoured to facilitate this important engagement.

Social Inclusion and Equity Workshop Held at Dower Campus
We are pleased to report the successful completion of a two-day Social Inclusion and Equity Workshop, hosted at Dower Campus on 28–29 May 2025.
The workshop, facilitated by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), created a collaborative and inclusive environment for Management, Academic Staff, Support Staff, and SRC representatives. The goal was to strengthen transformation efforts, enhance the implementation of social inclusion policies, and promote equity across the higher education landscape.

We extend our warmest wishes to Ms. Spino Fante on her joyful and well-deserved retirement. The workshop held added significance, as it marked her final presentation as a DHET official. Ms. Fante’s unwavering dedication to social inclusion, gender equity, and rural education has left an indelible mark, and her legacy will continue to inspire.

M&C FORUM MEETING/WORKSHOP
On 18 and 19 February 2025, all 8 EC TVET Colleges’ Marketing Officials, along with DHET Officials Mr. Nqai and Mr. Meso from the Regional Office, participated in the M&C Forum workshop at King Hintsa TVET College in Butterworth.
The workshop was further honoured by a visit from four DHET officials from the National Office: Mr. Masuku (Chief Director), Mr. Sithebe (Director), Mr. Ngoma (Director), and Mr. Mokono (Deputy Director of Marketing, TVET Branch).
This workshop marks a key milestone in advancing innovative communication across TVET Colleges.
Moving forward, the goal is to amplify their impact on audiences and foster growth through collaboration and shared efforts.
