The Standard Bank SME Expo was recently held in Gqeberha, in collaboration with key stakeholders such as the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber and Nelson Mandela University. As a member of the Chamber, Port Elizabeth TVET College was invited to attend the event.

The purpose of the expo was to provide a platform for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to gain exposure, access markets, explore funding opportunities, and connect with various support service providers.

We were particularly proud to see one of our own alumni, Mr Hlwati Sigqibo, a former Iqhayiya Campus student and Allan Gray Makers participant, who was invited to showcase his business, HB Craft.

We wish Mr Hlwati Sigqibo every success in his business endeavours.
