Maturity Model Assessment Departmental Review – 23–24 June 2025
The college successfully hosted a two-day Maturity Model Assessment Departmental Review at Pine Lodge in Gqeberha on 23 and 24 June 2025.
The Maturity Model is a vital tool within a TVET college context, designed to assess and enhance the institution’s capability to deliver high-quality education and training. Ultimately, it aims to strengthen the college’s effectiveness and relevance to both students and the labour market.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all staff who presented over the two days and contributed valuable input to the Maturity Model process. Your insights and participation are greatly valued.
Special thanks go to Mr. Msipha, Chief Director: TVET Systems, Planning and Institutional Support at the DHET National Office, and his team for their insightful questions, constructive feedback, and crucial contributions throughout the sessions.
We also acknowledge and thank Ms. Mbontsi, Ms. Maduna, and Mr. Nqai for their continued support and assistance as part of the DHET Regional Team. Your presence and guidance were greatly appreciated.
Together, these efforts contribute meaningfully to the continuous improvement of our institution.
