STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL (SRC) ELECTION PROCESS 2026
Port Elizabeth TVET College hereby invites all eligible students to participate in the 2026 Student Representative Council (SRC) Election process. This is an important opportunity for students to exercise their democratic right and contribute to student leadership and governance within the College.
The election process will proceed as follows:
1. Opening of Nominations (Nomination forms are at the SRC offices)
26 February 2026 – 02 March 2026 (Closing at 12:00)
2. Vetting of Nominations
02 March 2026
3. Resolution of Disputes
03 March 2026
4. Voter Education and Presentation of Manifestos
04 March 2026 – Dower Campus and Iqhayiya Campus
05 March 2026 – Russell Road Campus
5. Elections and Counting of Votes
10 March 2026
6. Release of Official Results
11 March 2026
