Lizwi France

Lizwi France, one of our top achievers, attaining an impressive 90% overall in Public Management N6.

This exceptionally gifted student has made an indelible impact on his life, and his legacy will endure for generations. Through his unwavering dedication, he has emerged as a top achiever.

Lizwi’s birthplace is Lady Frere, and he finished his high school education there. After applying to Port Elizabeth TVET College, he successfully finished the Public Management course at Dower Campus.

He is currently employed at the Department of Home Affairs in Queenstown, where he is undergoing his in-service training to earn his Diploma.

Lizwi thoroughly enjoyed his time at college and found great satisfaction in the course he pursued. Residing at the Dower Campus Residence, he emphasized the positive impact of residence life on his personal development, attributing it to fostering self-reliance. Despite facing numerous challenges, he remained resilient and maintained a strong focus on his studies. The first semester of his N4 studies was particularly challenging as he had to adjust to being away from home and acclimate to a new environment.

As a student, you’ll face many challenges and stress, but it’s important to remember that nothing worthwhile comes easy. That’s why it’s crucial to put in the effort and study hard. Always give your best in everything you do, even when it’s difficult. Although it may be tough, the rewards will be worth it in the end. Let your actions showcase your capabilities, and don’t be afraid to be underestimated, as it can be an advantage.” Said Lizwi

According to Lizwi, the key to success is to focus solely on studying. After obtaining his diploma he has ambitions of pursuing further studies and envisions himself as a Director within a Government Institution.

Lizwi expressed his gratitude to the lecturers and the entire college for providing him with education and knowledge. He acknowledged that without the college, he wouldn’t have achieved his current position and wouldn’t be on the right path to reaching his goals. Lizwi also expressed his appreciation for being recognized as one of the top achievers.

Zintle Mlindazwe

Zintle Mlindazwe, one of our top achievers, attaining an impressive 86% overall in Marketing Management N6.

Zintle hails from Port Elizabeth and submitted her application to Port Elizabeth TVET College in 2022. She completed the Marketing Management course at Russell Road Campus with success.

At present, Zintle is employed at a company that engages with the community. She is acquiring valuable experience, with the goal of becoming the head of her own department within the company.

“My college experience was fantastic, but managing my time was quite challenging and stressful. I had to rush to complete assignments, tests, and exams, but I was determined not to let time stand in the way of my success. Fortunately, my hard work and dedication paid off, as evidenced by my results.

I was fortunate to kickstart my career in the Marketing department of the college as a Marketing Intern, under the guidance of an exceptional supervisor.

I am immensely grateful to all my lecturers from N4 to N6. Their dedication to providing me with a quality education has been instrumental in getting me to where I am today. Thank you for your outstanding work. ” said Zintle

Waylin Basil Van Wyk

Waylin Basil Van Wyk, one of our top achievers, attaining an impressive 84% overall in Financial Management N6.

This exceptionally gifted student has made an indelible impact on his life, and his legacy will endure for generations. Through his unwavering dedication, he has emerged as a top achiever.

Waylin grew up under the care of his adoptive grandparents, whom he affectionately referred to as his mother and father, in a small neighbourhood near Port Elizabeth, Salt Lake. He credited his grandparents with instilling in him strong values and a sense of discipline that he believed would pave the way for his future. From the age of 5, he developed a passion for reading and delved into books.

Waylin finished his high school education at Bethelsdorp Comprehensive School, where he served as the head boy. Additionally, he joined the Christian Society at the school and excelled nationally in the WOW and ATKV spelling competition. Following his application to Port Elizabeth TVET College, he completed the Financial Management course at Russell Road Campus.

“I found my college experience to be quite enjoyable. I didn’t encounter many challenges, and I understood that consistent practice and completing my homework would lead to good grades. The lecturers were approachable, and some of them had a great sense of humour, which made the classes quite enjoyable.

It is truly overwhelming for me to have been chosen as one of the recipients of the principal’s medallion. My aspiration is to pursue further studies after obtaining my diploma.

PE College students, nothing is unachievable, and aspirations can become real. All it takes is perseverance and a positive outlook. Keep in mind, the only person who can hold you back is yourself. “said Waylin.

Waylin is not currently employed and has yet to finish his in-service Training to receive his diploma.

Brittney Williams

Brittney Williams, one of our top achievers, attaining an impressive 82% overall in Transport & Logistics L4.

This exceptionally gifted student has made an indelible impact on her life, and her legacy will endure for generations. Through her unwavering dedication, she has emerged as a top achiever.

Brittney resides in Port Elizabeth and identifies as an introvert. Her favourite pastimes include spending time at home with her loved ones, as well as reading and drawing. She is employed at a company in the purchasing department of the Supply Chain. Following her application to Port Elizabeth TVET College, she completed the Transport & Logistics L4 course at Dower Campus.

“Throughout my college experience, I gained valuable insights into my personal strengths and capabilities. Despite encountering typical student life difficulties, I maintained my concentration and structured approach, enabling me to surmount these challenges.

I have a favourite quote from a show that I really like: ‘Just because you didn’t do what you hoped for, doesn’t mean you failed.’ The concept here is that even though it’s simple to fantasize about the ideal job or life, making those dreams a reality requires dedication, perseverance, and belief. I’ve recognized that genuine gratitude for achievement only comes when you’ve put in the effort.

In the future, I plan to pursue further education, as I see learning as a continuous process. My faith in God is pivotal in directing my journey, and I have confidence that by seeking His guidance, I will make decisions that align with His will and the purpose He has for me.” said Brittney.
