We are pleased to announce that the college has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with BAIC, marking a significant milestone in advancing opportunities for student development and workplace exposure. The agreement was officially signed on Monday, 18 May 2026, at the BAIC premises in Gqeberha. This partnership was initiated through Mr. Siseko Ngameli.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening collaboration between education and industry, with a strong focus on enhancing the employability of our College learners.
Through this partnership, BAIC will provide structured placement opportunities for learners, enabling them to gain valuable practical experience within a real-world automotive manufacturing environment. This initiative aligns with the College’s ongoing mission to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and workplace readiness.
The signing of this MOA not only reinforces the College’s dedication to building sustainable industry partnerships but also opens doors for learners to develop critical skills, industry insight, and professional networks that will support their future careers.
Port Elizabeth TVET College looks forward to a fruitful and impactful collaboration with BAIC, as both institutions work together to empower learners and contribute meaningfully to skills development within the region.
